DGZ Capital, LLC is an alternative asset management company focused on acquiring ownership stakes in leading private equity and private equity-related fund management businesses. DGZ acquires ownership interests in these companies and their general partners through minority acquisitions, growth capital financings and in select instances as a strategic fund investor in a primary capital raise or as a replacement strategic investor in a secondary transaction.

DGZ currently manages approximately $1 billion in capital committed by Capital Z Investment Partners (CZIP). The firm manages CZIP's existing private equity investments in the U.S. and Europe and advises CZIP with respect to investments in Asia. DGZ personnel serve on the management boards and/or investment committees of these fund managers.

Prior to creating DGZ, the firm's senior management team co-founded and played senior management roles in building CZIP into a market-leading direct acquirer of ownership interests in private equity and hedge fund managers. Collectively these investment firms today manage over $20 billion in assets under management.
